4 complete-configuration records

Four complete configurations, grouped as regular releases and dense-track updates. Compare material, track and listed weight; replacement parts and tools are listed separately.

Names identify documented complete configurations. Material differences and browse groups do not establish official sub-series; components and included items are listed separately.

Table dates refer to the documentation, not necessarily the release. Confirmed release and quantity information appears in each record.

Hold the body and slide the plate

Top-F places a moving plate over a compact body. The 2023 steel and brass announcements each specify six effective feedback steps from bottom to top, giving those two releases a clear reference for comparing their detents.

  1. Hold the body and touch the moving plate
  2. Slide the plate and feel the feedback through it
  3. Slide back by hand and repeat

Material updates also change the track description

Both 2024 updates use dense tracks. Titanium has patterned faces described as helping grip. PEI is translucent and uses a redesigned track plate; the maker describes pronounced pushing feedback and a crisp sound for that PEI release.

Steel and brass: regular releases

Each began with a batch of 200; both announcements explicitly describe uncapped regular releases.

Titanium alloy: 16.5 g

The 2024 configuration is limited to 166 pieces; its listed complete-product weight is 16.5 g.

PEI: 5.1 g

The 2024 configuration is limited to 166 pieces and is lighter of the two updates with listed weights.

Read complete configurations and replacement parts separately

The maker has a separate TOPF parts listing naming springs, screws, track plates, a centre post and tools. It is counted separately from the four complete configurations. Identify the exact release and fitted assembly when choosing a component.

04

Choose the feedback pattern, then compare weight and appearance

Start with the 2023 steel or brass release if you want a documented six-step reference. For dense tracks, compare the 2024 titanium and PEI updates at 16.5 g and 5.1 g respectively. PEI is a starting point for a translucent appearance and the lower of those two listed weights; titanium offers the metal option.
