Shell, inner piece and ball: three different jobs
The launch described a transverse stepped rail and integrated spring-and-ball for sliding feedback. A separate magnetic structure locks the modular shell.
Launch copy described light feedback, long travel and moderate resistance. These are impressions, not measured specifications for every configuration.
Inner piece: carries the rail
The rail works with a spring-and-ball to create mechanical detents. An inner-piece change differs from a shell change.
Whole slider: check the combination
Even within CHOC, check which part uses each material and which track is fitted.

The differences go beyond colour
Both launch configurations used brass inner pieces. The 2025 stainless steel + PEEK configuration introduced a different inner material; the collaboration, Corian, white and PEI configurations add other choices.
The PEI configuration explicitly specifies a PEEK rail, while its material description does not map PEI to individual parts.
Look and grip
Shell material, finish and size change the exterior; Corian also changes width and fit.
Then check the rail
Brass, PEEK and different track plates cannot be identified reliably from the exterior alone.

Zircuti names still need an edition check
The regular wave-pattern, 8th-anniversary wave-pattern and 2026 Shanghai ES water-wave configurations are recorded separately. A 2025 Shanghai ES configuration also exists; the same show label does not identify the same edition.

Check Corian fit separately
The Matang and White Nougat Corian CHOC configurations are wider than the metal configurations sold at the time. A metal top cover does not fit a Corian base.
The eight-slot walnut display case also excludes Corian configurations. No universal interchange dimensions are given, so check the exact configuration when pairing covers or cases.

The same spacing can describe different plates
Read track spacing separately from the end design. The 2025 0.9 mm and 0.6 mm end impact plates are recorded separately from the 2026 0.6 mm extra-dense silent plate.
A PEEK inner piece included with the collaboration does not mean an end impact plate is bundled. Check inserts, plates, sleeves and cases separately.

June 2025 documentation describes a wider end recess. The November update separately lists 0.9 mm dense and 0.6 mm extra-dense accessories.
Extra-dense silent plate
January 2026 documentation gives 0.6 mm spacing but no end attraction slot. Spacing alone is not enough to choose a plate.

Which exterior?
Metal, Corian, matte white and amber PEI offer different looks. Check the particular listing and its parts.
Which inner piece?
Confirm the fitted track and any extra plates. Shell material does not establish the inner material.
Which accessories?
Check your exact cover or case. The documented Corian bases do not accept the metal covers discussed.
