JadeiteCarved panels, plain panels and mechanical ring bodies

Start with the component the maker calls jadeite, then read the stone and metal structure as separate layers.

In these EDC examples, jadeite appears as a replaceable panel on a zirconium body, as the outer body of a mechanical ring, and as the main visible material of a slider version. Each product requires its stone, metal and mechanism to be checked separately.

GIA describes jade as an umbrella term covering jadeite, nephrite and, under certain conditions, green omphacite. It also notes that Fei Cui usage in parts of Asia can include more than one material. This guide therefore keeps each maker's material and version wording, without turning colour, translucency or the word jade into a gemmological identification.

CHAPTER 01

Narrow the scope of jade and Fei Cui first

GIA's material description treats jade as a broad category and says Fei Cui can refer to jadeite, kosmochlor and omphacite in some markets. The words jade or yu therefore do not automatically mean jadeite, and colour cannot complete the identification.

The product conclusions here follow only components the source explicitly calls jadeite. Treatment, origin and exact mineral composition remain unknown without independent testing; the GIA reference explains terminology rather than authenticating maker products.

CHAPTER 02

Chijinma: jadeite as a panel on zirconium

Liao Liao EDC's Xuan Bing Cui Chijinma release lists a carved horse jadeite panel, plain jadeite, plain mocui and plain agate separately. The first two are explicitly named as jadeite panels; they mount on a zirconium body, so stone and metal occupy different layers.

The set price combines body and panel, while plain panels can also be added separately when ordering a zirconium Chijinma. The source also offers polished or matte treatment for the zirconium body; that choice is not a treatment claim for the jadeite panel.

CHAPTER 03

She Jie: a stone body around a metal ring

Shexiang Craft lists She Jie with separate jadeite and Feizhou Cui body versions. The ring is gold-plated titanium alloy by default, with a plain titanium-alloy ring available by adding a note after ordering. In the worn photograph, the jadeite outer body and metal inner ring form a clear boundary without relying on colour for the material assignment.

A spring-and-two-ball bidirectional mechanism sits inside the ring. Jadeite therefore contributes to the overall form while another component group provides the mechanism. The article displays a certificate for the jadeite version; this guide records that display without treating one certificate as independent authentication of the whole series.

CHAPTER 04

Fafashe: jadeite as the main visible material of a complete version

Liao Liao EDC lists Fafashe in complete white-ice agate and icy jadeite versions. The icy jadeite version is about 78 g, and the maker adds that its material is Guatemalan jadeite. Approximate dimensions of 55 × 30 × 14 mm apply to both complete versions.

The optimised Dinglang bronze track supports two-, three- and four-tone tuning and remains a separate internal metal component. The 78 g figure is not the weight of a loose jadeite piece, and this guide has not independently verified the maker's geographic description.

CHAPTER 05

Cuiyu can also be explicitly defined as G10

GD EDC's Jinxiangyu Gladiator calls its body Cuiyu and then explicitly specifies G10, alongside a gold-plated stainless-steel panel, a liner described by the maker as Teflon and an optional aerospace-aluminium rotating liner. The material statement here is G10, not natural jadeite.

Product names, colour names and stone-like appearance remain search leads. A product enters the jadeite examples only when the source assigns that material to a specific component and version.

CHAPTER 06

Care guidance follows the specific stone product

The Fafashe source advises avoiding impact and drops, wiping dirt with a soft cloth and water, and keeping the product away from strong acids and alkalis. The She Jie article offers a one-time paid replacement only for the Feizhou Cui body; it does not extend the same after-sales promise to the jadeite version.
