EXOSKELETON is WANWU's fidget slider family, combining a linear mechanical track with a moving magnetic core inside a ribbed shell. Documented configurations vary by material and core; Companion Bone extensions are separate components.

WANWU EXOSKELETON combines a linear mechanical track with a moving magnetic core. The ribbed shell exposes part of the central mechanism. Transparent PEI, PEEK, G10, carbon fiber, PC and several metals form different configurations. Start with the slider and its core, then consider Companion Bone extensions.

Companion Bone, rings, pendants and stands each have separately scoped parts and weights.
Browse every complete-configuration record in this guide’s research scope. Names identify documented combinations; material differences, research groups and accessories do not automatically establish official editions.
Table dates refer to the documentation, not necessarily the release. Confirmed release and quantity information appears in each record.

01
What it is and how it plays
Mechanical steps and the magnetic core work together.
The maker describes five mechanical steps before the sixth crosses a magnetic repulsion point. The core impacts and vibrates, then seven more mechanical steps lead across a second repulsion point into another impact. The two events are compared with the contractions of a heartbeat. This describes the operating sequence; it does not measure or rank sound volume and force across materials.
Another mode replaces the magnetic slider with a track-and-ball arrangement. Seven documented tracks create different step patterns, with a 6 mm ball in the early example. The maker describes removing two moving-block screws to change the parts. Track layout, ball material and assembly affect the result, so shell color alone does not identify the feedback.
The tuning-fork core is optional. It is not standard in every EXOSKELETON and is distinct from the tail-mounted fork included with some Companion Bone modules. Check the core, tail fork and complete accessory package as separate items.
Hold the base while allowing the moving block to travel along its track.
Uses the default mode in the 2025 launch description and shows external sliding only. It does not map core impacts, detent counts or a common feel across tracks.
Hold the base while allowing the moving block to travel along its track.
Move the block along the track and feel the feedback.
Return along the track and repeat the relative movement.
02
How materials and parts change
Read the spine, ribs, base and core separately.
Initial PEI is listed at 18 g and titanium at 54 g; beige PEEK later appears at 16 g. Titanium began with sandblasting and subsequently gained a pearl-stonewashed finish. The upgrade does not create an additional 599-piece edition. Fine-wire superconductor is specified for the spine, base, core and ribs, with polished surfaces and a permanent limit of four.
The zirconium version has a zirconium body and standard zirconium core. Adding a Mokuti core does not make the entire slider Mokuti. Its initially announced count of 599 was revised to 666 after 67 were added. Before delivery, polishing was replaced by a tumbling finish. The records follow these later announcements without inventing separate production totals for core or surface choices.
The six 2025 G10 colors use stainless-steel body tracks in natural or black-plated form, with three track patterns. Blue ZircuTi is a distinct layered material, not ordinary zirconium. Six colored aluminum configurations in 2026 use a transparent PMMA track body. Yellow/white uses micro-arc oxidation; the other five use anodizing. The purple disassembly photograph helps identify the separate parts.
The standalone stainless versions are pearl stonewashed at 90 g and silver plated with an aged finish at 91 g. The glow colors are described only as imported Dutch material. Their specific polymer is unconfirmed, and the photograph does not measure brightness or glow duration.
The 2025 regular-batch announcement lists 1580 pieces and also 263 sets; those figures cannot be reconciled by simply multiplying six per set or allocating equal counts to each color. The event chart’s 180 across each three-color G10 group and 60 carbon-fiber examples belong to a different batch scope.

How Companion Bone fits
A complete photographed assembly is not a module package list.
The ratchet ring and spinning Ironbugs pendant are separate accessories. Titanium/steel Ironbugs is about 25 g; PEI/steel is about 15 g. Both are approximately 22 mm across and 21 mm tall. Each documented ring variant is about 18.2 g. Companion Bone combines an extended module, tuning fork and replaceable matching-specification connections; this does not establish universal compatibility with other brands.
Zirconium Companion Bone is listed at 105.6 g including an 11.6 g tuning fork, explicitly excluding the displayed slider, ring and Ironbugs. The pictured titanium module is 100.6 g. The 163 g aluminum accessory set includes its module, connecting rod, aluminum Ironbugs and ring, but excludes the slider and tuning fork. Separate photographed titanium and zirconium assemblies are labelled 138 g and 184 g; these are not module-only weights.
The antique-copper stainless assembly is 304 g, pictured at 50 by 145 mm and limited to 66, with an electroplated finish. The regular stainless assembly is also 304 g but does not inherit the copper version’s quantity or dimensions. The original nylon-and-stainless Hatchery stand is approximately 245 g, 84 mm across and 130 mm tall, holding three sliders and three cores. These figures do not transfer to the later double-level stand.

Choosing a configuration
Choose the action and weight, then check tracks, materials and attachments.
For a lightweight configuration with visible internals, begin with the 18 g amber PEI. The lighter documented option is beige PEEK at 16 g. For metal weight, compare initial titanium at 54 g with stainless at 90 or 91 g. These are documented product weights, not a hands-on preference test. Black PEEK and zirconium remain without an overall weight where one has not been established.
For appearance, distinguish layered G10, forged carbon, blue ZircuTi, candy ZircuTi and fine-wire superconductor. The 2026 aluminum colors also have different tracks: pink and green use offset medium steps; blue and red use regular dense steps; yellow/white and purple use offset extra-dense steps. For ring, spinning or storage functions, identify the corresponding separate accessory instead of assuming it accompanies the slider.
Avoid overtightening G10 screws. The beige PEEK component list applies to its documented factory configuration, not the entire family. Unknown is not equivalent to zero, unlimited production or no accessories. When requesting an example, provide the material, finish, core and a reference image, then check the included parts against that particular item.
