Exorcism: silver accessories, separate from the body

In its March 2025 accessory update, EDCELL states that it had taken over Pohuaizhe’s after-sales service and accessory development, then introduces 925-silver Exorcism accessories and luminous Tracer accessories. Silver and luminous material refer to two different accessories, rather than the main toy body.

The Exorcism pieces show bright raised twists, dark recesses and ring grooves. The detached view shows each accessory’s outline; the fitted view shows where it sits in the toy.

Both new accessories have a tail magnet described in the source as 4 × 2. Together with a configuration change at the chamber base, this changes the flicking feedback. That effect involves the accessory design and magnetic components; it is not evidence that silver itself has the same magnetic behaviour. EDCELL supplies a silver-polishing cloth and spare O-rings with Exorcism, so maintenance still needs to account for the different materials.

Tianhu: silver and brass switch positions

MOT’s Tianhu plates use raised relief and inlaid details, but the two versions distribute their materials differently. The April 2023 article specifies a brass plate base with 925-silver ingots and coins for the zirconium-body version. For the body version the maker labels “gangtai”, the plate base is 925 silver and the ingots and coins are brass.

Silver can form the broad base of a plate or just a group of small inlays. Identifying the body version first, then the plate base and decorative pieces, explains where the silver and gold colours come from.

A gecko on a steel clip, a thumb stud on a knife

Gecko’s June 2025 preview of its large gecko clip specifies a steel clip base and a 925-silver gecko body, with gemstone eyes planned for the production version. The sculpted gecko is one component on a clip whose steel base remains a separate material.

Fanfan Lizi’s May 2026 skull thumb studs come in realistic and faceted S925 versions, with different left and right pieces in each pair. The release lists compatibility by size and explicitly excludes downward compatibility. The same material does not make every fitting interchangeable.

Another placement appears in Laotieri EDC’s Anshi set: 925 silver is used for the pendant on a waxed cord, while the spinner body is steel and its buttons are PEI. A silver accessory in the set does not turn the spinner itself into a silver version.

925 marks silver content; finish also affects colour

GIA describes sterling silver as an alloy containing 92.5% silver, with the balance made up of other metals; 925 corresponds to that silver content. It differs from the 999 mark and does not specify one fixed recipe for the remaining 7.5%.

925, S925 and product engravings help identify the maker’s material claim. Confirming actual composition requires appropriate testing. Dark grooves in a photograph alone also cannot distinguish an intentionally aged finish from later surface discolouration.

Follow the relief, inlays and accessories to identify the silver, then compare the body and neighbouring materials. That keeps the decorative detail in view without expanding one silver component into a claim about the whole object.
